Whats most cost effective for screen printing?

1) Many garments with the same imprint.

2) Increasing quantities, to get to next price break reduces price per shirt (i.e. if you want 20 shirts, try 25 as it may work out cheaper)

3) Print in fewer locations with fewer colors. (multi coloured images can often look very effective printed in one, two or three colours - we can help you with the artwork).

4) Choose more economical garments.
(Gildan heavy white & FOTL heavy white are the cheapest standard weight garments).

If I order more shirts, will I have to pay screen charges again?

As long as the order is for a mimimum of 25 items using the same screens then no.

How do I get my artwork to you?

Email or CD is preferable, we can work from hard-copy but there maybe a charge for this.

Alternatively, use the order form to upload your artwork to us.

My artwork is of low quality, can you help?

Yes, your best bet is to send it to us to have a look and we can advise you, although low quality artwork at the start can mean low quality prints on the finished garment, its not going to get any better unless maybe the image can be coverted to a vector graphic.

What format should I send my artwork in?

We prefer to receive artwork in the following formats:

adobe illustrator 8 (*.ai)
encapsulated post script (*.eps)
portable document format (*.pdf)

300dpi or more at final print size for the following formats:

adobe photoshop 9 (*.psd) - Do not flatten layers!
tagged image format (*.tif)
Jpegs are generally not acceptable for quality reproduction work. Microsoft Word, Publisher and PowerPoint are also not acceptable formats. Files that do not meet these specifications may be subject to artwork charges after review.

Please leave all artwork in layers, outline or rasterize your fonts, and assign desired colours where able. Use our house colours in your artwork if appropriate.

Please submit your art files sized to your intended print size. We recommend that you design artwork at the final size rather than scaling it up as the last step.

What is the normal size of a front print?

A nice size front print would be around 9" wide x 12" high. We currently print upto a maximum of 13" x 18"

Can I mix the item types in my order?

Yes, as long as the design is exactly the same on each item and is printed in the same location and same size on all of the shirts. Minimums on pieces per style, color, and size for each garment may apply.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of your order but allow 7-10 working days, we try our best to be as quick as we can but if you have a deadline to meet please give us as much notice as possible to be on the safe side, we may not have the shirts you require in stock.

What's the minimum order of screen printed shirts?

Minimums are already built into our quote system, if you enter a number lower than the minimum then the minimum number of items will be used for your quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

Paypal, cheque, BACS transfer and cash.

Will I have to pay for my order up front?

Yes please. We will be unable to start your job until payment is received.

How much do you charge for delivery?

We charge a flat rate of £6.95 for within the UK.
